Re-Elect Tim Holland on Tuesday, November 3rd!

Ballot Position #8

Re-Elect Tim!

Tim Holland is seeking re-election to the St. Matthews City Council.  Tim has been honored to serve as a St. Matthews City Councilman since 2014.  During that time he has been a central part of the team that has brought major improvements to St. Matthews, such as:

  • Strengthened neighborhood safety with a fully accredited police force, expanded presence in our neighborhoods, body cameras, real-time speed analysis technology, upgraded radios and computer equipment, and advanced training - including SWAT unit for emergency response, one of only two such units in this area.

  • Continued investing in parks and green spaces, with improvements at Brown, Community and Draut Parks, along with extensive upgrades to Warwick Park.

  • Completed the citywide walkability study as part of the Strategic Plan to improve pedestrian safety, connectivity, and quality of life.

  • Expanded the quality of city events, professional holiday lights and new drone show at Light-Up St. Matthews and Park Music Concerts.

  • Retained curbside leaf collection, rear door garbage pickup, enhanced recycling program, and year-round yard waste disposal.

  • Preserved a low property tax rate by offering a 40% discount for early payment.

  • Improved environmental quality by increasing city tree canopy with free trees and beautification programs, free arborist support and public works green-up service.

In addition to these great projects, Tim has:

  • Served for 12 years on the city's police steering committee.  Supporting the officers and helping to hire several exemplary new officers.

  • Current Chair of the city's rental committee, which oversees rental property owned by the city of               St. Matthews.

These are just a few of the highlights of Tim's time on St. Matthews City Council.  However, the most important job Tim has, and the one he hopes to continue after this election, is to represent the citizens of St. Matthews.  He is always ready to listen and help in any way he can.  Please vote for Tim Holland on November 3, 2026, so he can continuing serving the St. Matthews Community.
